Trey says Jokic has jumped above legends David Robinson and Patrick Ewing on the NBA's all-time centers list. Comparing to where he is now to Shaqs career is quite a stretch

Moses Malone has something to say here ✋🏾

6th best Center is totally fair… a lot of people can’t look away from Shaqs freak athleticism & size long enough to acknowledge that Jokic is more skilled & efficient than Shaq has ever been. I still have Shaq ahead of Jokic of course but this guy is right… it’s getting close!!!… and if Jokic gets another Ring and/or MVP consideration then there’s going to be a lot of heated debates out there.

1. Kareem 2. Wilt 3. Shaq 4. Hakeem 5. Russel 6. Moses Malone 7. Jokic 8. David Robinson 9. Joel (can go higher if he win a ring) 10. Ewing / Yao

I wanna say 7th those all defense and DPOY on David Robinson is what give home the slight edge but that is a longevity thing so Jokic will pass probably next season if not the season after that

Hakeem, Shaq, and Kareem are the best centers on the list

Jokic' s resume at age 28 is on par with Shaq and Hakeem. Jokic already has 2 MVP's and a title which neither Shaq or Hakeem had at that point in their careers (Shaq won his first ring at 27). Shaq also had to go to LA to get his title, Jokic won it for a small market team playing with no all-stars. He's already the greatest passing big man in history, his offensive efficiency is better than both Shaq and Kareem and he truly has no weaknesses in his game. He's just so versatile and impactful.

Moses Malone on this list without a doubt

The Shaq disrespect is crazy. He is better than Bill Russel and he is better than Wilt. If you ask a logical Nba insider they will say Shaq is the 2nd best Centre OAT right behind kareem.

The late great Moses Malone was a 3x MVP, 1x Champion and 1x FMVP. So i believe Joker is still behind him but once his career is done, he will pass the great Moses and if he wins another MVP and 1 to 2 more titles, he can legitimately challenge Hakeem and Shaq.

Todays game is different than when those other centers were playing. Put Jokic in their era and see what happens.

Are we really disrespecting defense here ? Cause the admiral was literally besides hakeem the best defensive center of all time his quickness, strength and iq was unheard of at that time and offensively as you see has a scoring champ not to mention 1 of 4 to have a quadruple double

I agree, yeah. I’ve kinda been asking the same question, and came to the same conclusion. Maybe I’m missing a center, or listing a center as a pf, but he’s sixth, behind those five guys for me

I love Jokic but dawg, Hakeem was a monster two way and carried worse rosters to two rings, and Shaq has 4 rings and 3 FMVP. Jokic isn't even close to either of those guys, he needs 5+ more years of sustained excellence and 1-2 more rings being the main guy for him to get to that stature.

I don't know I feel like I'm taking Hakeem over Bill. I'm sorry. Maybe I'm a victim of my time but I feel Hakeem is slept on. His two runs are just outmatched. Bill won 11 but there were like 8 or 10 teams back then. Idk I feel like that number is inflated a bit.
