Cobblestone isn't the only thing that Ghasts can't break. I don't know if they've changed it now, but from Wolv's videos you can see that glass is also unbreakable to Ghasts.

I just installed the mod and already head to aether, I use other mods for fun so it was easy to build a glowstone portal, and just saying you will love it!

i don't remember which update notch did, but since this update, ghast and zombie pigman are immune to fire and lava, since they live in hell and to remove the creeping noise they make when they get hurt from it

If you hate the ghasts in the nether, just wait until you see the ghast equivelents in the aether.

Man it took you 10 years to get the glowstone, it takes less than 1 minute to mine it all.
