This song is so beautiful.
“I’ll celebrate your birthday even if it isn’t with you.” This lyric hit me bc in May of 2021, I lost a cousin who was my best friend and like a brother to me due to a car crash. His birthday is June 5 and had he lived, he would've been 19 that year. He would've been 20 this year and so this song is even more relatable. Yesterday was my 16th birthday and seeing that this song came out then too feels like I was meant to listen to it. I've always wanted to have all my family here in person for my special birthday, but in my heart is just as good. I love you so much Isaiah.
