Very good interview. I worked as a course manager for Envato Tuts+ for five years, and our course producers would record one course a month for a set fee. What we did notice though is that subscribers/students would prefer bite sized courses around 30-45min. I've purchased quite a few Udemy courses over the years that are 3-5hrs long and I've never finished "one" course ha ha! What many of our regular producers were doing, was recording bite size courses for Skillshare too and that helped bump up there earnings. So if I was gonna record a course to use on Udemy, I would do a lengthly one for them and bite size courses for Skillshare. I know someone who is earning $100K a year doing this.
