One word of advice from a native. Don't live near a stream, river, lake or coast. All the development is only making it worse.

Thanks to your team for the Stream video! I have several friends that were impacted by these 2 Hurricanes. Although I am in southeast texas, I realize just how bad these storms can be. We all in the Houston area are praying for all in Florida.

Dude, don't walk thru river water like that. We have gators, water moccasins etc..

I'd worry about critters in all that water, and forming sinkholes

@ 7:00 that "For Sale" sign is tragic... I mean everything about this is tragic, but just that image of a "For Sale" sign seemly in the middle of a lake or stream... truly tragic, can't image how many people in that area lost everything, my heart goes out to everyone that has been affected

Would like to make a comment on “historic flooding” in New Port Richey on SR 54 Road that it’s not historic, we had a worse situation in this area back in 2011, and it was just a regular tropical storm, so far not close to that disaster. For local residents, this situation is not surprise . Be safe

I feel bad for the homeless Americans down there.

I remember the flooding in Tampa from a storm in May of 1979. They brought the buses early to the school because the school was flooding. I lived on Central in Seminole Heights and the water was up to our porch. The Hillsborough river flooded many peoples homes.

A lot of the dry land in Florida is there because of Canals. Canals built to human calculated engineering standards.
Mother Nature probably wasn't well represented at those planning meetings.

Seriously, why were we notified now when we've been telling the Florida government that we've been flooding for 24 hours?

Man, that lady can talk. She really has a handle on the situation. Informative.
