The yoke and steer by wire makes sense for the Lexus brand because it’s a convenience to make steering more effortless and relaxing. I’d definitely like something like that when driving in tight city streets.

Biggest problem was range (up to 400km) in last RZ. With upgrade, +100km upgrade with more effi. engine and battery are very good choice for market. I wanted to Rz at last year. But 400km was very dealbreaker. Because car is very fine. With 500km+ range, this model can be my own first EV. Thanks for video :)

Hi Thomas, would Lexus be willing to let you have an RZ500e or RZ550e for a few months to test how useful or problematic that range really is? You would also be able to live with the Motion Grip and be able to report on it more in depth. I certainly would love to see you do a few long-term reports on EVs and PHEVs.

Very plush/posh interior and definitely far far more interesting than any Tesla. Lexus is one of the few luxury brands that does "minimalist" well.

Had a 450e RZ as a loan car recently. Honestly I didn't like it and the performance novelty wore off very quickly, couldn't wait to get my old IS 300h back! The handling is a bit crap honestly, it felt incredibly heavy in the corners and really washed wide, not confidence inspiring at all. The range is truly terrible and was having to constantly charge the bloody thing, felt like old betamax technology at that point. And lastly, I've never had a car bong and beep at me so much to the point were I couldn't wait to hand it back to the dealership it was so annoying and distracting, it was like an advert why never to buy a car built after 2021!
