This tent is now discontinued, but there is a current upgraded version called the Gold EVO 6P that has slightly different design elements.
Whilst there is no detachable side awning, it is compatible with a versatile shade awning extension with multiple set up options.

I am trying to workout the difference from the evo gold vs Northstar.
From what I can see is the Northstar has an extra shell to go over the tent to make it darker and includes light on the inside. The internal dimensions and material are exactly the same. Is there anything else I’m missing?

So a 1400mm wide SIM instead of queen and king single SIMs should fit much more nicely I am assuming.

One question I have is whether there's a definite front and rear? Or is the front the same as the rear and you just choose which is which on the day?

The side awning does not come with the tent, looks like extra that you have to purchase separately.I just bought one, it only has the front and back awning which come as 1 piece with the rain fly.

Bit upset. Just bought this tent from snowys expecting it to have the side awning as this video and the setup video state it comes with a side, removable awning. Definitely no awning. That was a huge selling point for me as I also bought the evo shade awning to go with the tent so I can make a good set up for my dog. Disappointed.
