She's so right about becoming invisible. It's a youth oriented world.

I’m 83 widow and agree we are not seen. Our children see us very differently. My wonderful primary doctor specializes in geriatric’s and she sees and cares deeply for her patients. Thank you Dr. Hu. Yes aging changes our outlook on things and we are dead before our family catches up. Stay active, move move move and be fair with the younger generation. ❤

I’m 30 and I’ve noticed this, too, but probably to a smaller degree. The world was much kinder to me when I was 21. Strangers also seemed infinitely more interested in me when I was in my early 20s. It’s surreal noticing this change in real time but, fortunately, I care less the older I get.

I love talking and learning from people older than my age.

It's enlightening to learn that people do feel ... when being treated differently.

I turn 69 in April and part of me feels so young still, can’t believe I’m as old as I am

She's right! I do feel a little more invisible now at 51 than I did in my 20s and 30s.😢❤

As a late 50s women near 60 I don’t feel invisible at all! I feel as it’s a state of mind. Sure maybe I don’t get the whistles and the stairs like I did when I was in my 20s and 30s but I don’t even want that at this stage in my life. I’m sorry that that woman feels like she’s invisible because being older, our superpower is being happy because there’s so many people that want to authentically connect and make friends of people of any age. As a matter fact, because of the cesspool of social media, I’m seeing that much younger people are enjoying the conversations with me and the authenticity that I bring maybe because I am older lol.

💯 the sad part is you do feel invisible. I was really sad because I realized I was only worth how I looked. Now, i really appreciate the kind people more.

She's right on this answer. That's my perspective too.

I agree. I turn 52 this week but I feel like Im still in my 30s. Social groups get tighter the older you get.

" The world is a less friendlier as you get older " 😢😢

She is so right, it is a less friendly world for 55 plus. Especially for women, we are not seen. Very sad. Community is everything, and we seem to have lost that in the US, post covid.😢
