Great video! The rise in global credit risk is definitely a concern, especially with the current market sentiment. With inflationary pressures, rising interest rates, and economic uncertainty, it’s no surprise that credit risks are on the rise. It’ll be interesting to see how global markets handle this shift and what that means for both businesses and consumers. Definitely something to keep monitoring moving forward. Thanks for the insightful breakdown!

I am so confused. As a retail investor I put money into a bond index fund. So should I sell out?

When the Bond traders inventory gets too large in order to sell his bonds he will need to raise his interest rate. Bond buyers are attracted to high rates/yields. Therefore the question to ask is who is selling their bonds.

Mark Carney bought more US bonds this year increasing Canada's holding to 350 billion. With co-ordinated selling of the bonds along with the EU countries 1.5 trillion and Japan's 1+ trillion, the US would be damaged. Trump talks like a mobster while Carney plays chess.

This just makes me feel as though I should pull out of the market entirely.
