Biggest lesson i learnt in 2024 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.

Buffet is a “Buy Low” investor. No surprise to me that he’s not purchasing overpriced stocks. He’s not an emotional investor. He doesn’t follow hype. He’s extremely methodical.

Buffet was also selling when the pandemic hit, a great entry point for people of my generation (30s, 40s) and a great period for stocks overall. My question is do you think it's a good time to consider selling some stocks too? I’m considering rebalancing my $2M portfolios and curious for the best strategies to do so.

Warren Buffett's actions aren't unusual; he's simply applying knowledge already familiar to those in higher financial circles. The real question is why others are selling their stocks. It's logical to assume there's a reason behind selling such a large number of stocks at once. If this isn't clear, further research is needed. It's a daring strategy.

I'm ecstatic with Trump's victory and the year-end market surge. Which hidden jewels in the upcoming bull run would you buy with 150 grand right now? My goal is to position myself for a prosperous Q1 in 2025.

Maybe Buffett expects his health to deteriorate and he's preparing for his inevitable final transition.

Warren Buffett once said to treat investing in securities like real estate-you don't constantly check for gains. So, the recent bitcoin price drop doesn't bother me. I keep dollar-cost averaging and adding to my position, and I'm up 200% year-to-date because of this strategy.

If buffet selling, then Is this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying stocks are at a discount and all but just how long will It take to recover or am I better off putting my money elsewhere. I need a lot as rent, inflation alone eat up almost all of what I make with dependents and other obligations included. Tbh it's an uncertain year for me.

On day - don’t hold cash
Next day - sell everything
Which one is it?

Niesamowity materiał! 📈 Warren Buffett zawsze potrafi zaskoczyć swoimi decyzjami inwestycyjnymi. 🌟

He knows he's old and he's beginning to get ready to give that money away upon his passing

During a recession you can buy things for a very good price if you have money. People who are desperate sell things undervalued. Having money ready to jump on a good deal is wise at the beginning of a recession.

Buffett is a value, long term investor. He is ok foregoing the final 20% of the market meltup so he can buy stocks at a 60% discount in a few years. This has no bearing on the day trader, swing trader or short term investor.

I won't sell. I will just increase my holdings and buy other stocks at a good price. Always keep your money in the markets, if you want some real wealth!

Props to Buffett, the man is 94 and still playing the long game.

I think the market is overvalued for the last 10 years. I guess he just thinks that now the end is near and wants to have his cash ready.

Unfortunately, after the first nukes drop, treasury bills, cash, gold, whatever...arnt going to be worth anything anyway. That bag of dried beans and rice in your cupboared...priceless.

That man lives in a highly theoretical space. 1. Hes an old man hes not trying toget any richer 2. He bought 50% of japans national bank....3. Hes revokibg msny of his positions . Again hes more strategic than worried about building his wealth hes very interested in how he connects to things, as an old man. I dont thinjs hes woeth watxhing for the avg investor. Hes positioning his legacy
