Ja Morant garnered a lot of attention on social media after talking about Michael Jordan while talking with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report. Ja first said he wished he played in MJ’s generation and would have liked to have played against him. Then, the Memphis Grizzlies' star followed it up by saying quote, “I would have cooked him. I would have cooked him, too. Nobody got more confidence than 12.” Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to Ja's comments.

Jordan is the type of dude to come out of retirement just to drop 60 on Ja for running his mouth 😂

Fact that media still talking about jordan in 2022 years after retirement shows how good he really was.

I'm thankful Ja didn't play in the 80's. Detroit would have broke that kid before halftime. Broke him. Literally broke him in half.

Ja would get manhandled and abused. He might get one lay up or get a nice shot up but that’s about it

There's a clip on Youtube where Kobe talked about the time he guarded Jordan during their first matchup. Kobe was guarding Jordan out on the baseline. Kobe said Jordan spun and drove the ball to the rim for a layup or dunk (can't remember which). Kobe said MJ moved so fast that he didn't even have time to react. Kobe said he knew the move was coming, as he had seen it so many times on TV. But to Shannon's point. It's one thing to see it on tv, but it's another to witness it up close and personal. I don't think many of these guys today truly understand just how different MJ was.
