For your fans, I recommend the SWIFF instead. It was recommended to me by a guy named Sean Ur who has been doing cross comparisons between the different wireless systems. The Swiff was his top pick. And I think his reasons were good. The swift operates at 900 MHz. Which takes it out of the very crowded 2.4 and 5G bands making it more reliable. Also it’s unique in that it automatically will choose between the best of four frequencies. And you could switch frequencies if one was giving you trouble .He even thinks you can gig with it provided you have some back up.

He has gigged with it. The unit can penetrate walls and has 170foot range which is double or triple most units! Lastly it’s really sleek and sexy. The CFG isn’t bad looking but it’s still blocky. The Swiff has a beautiful green circle which looks gorgeous on its own or reflecting off of your guitar finish. I bought one and I’m super happy with it, and I really think I made the best choice. But I will say that if someone doesn’t have that choice or for some other reason wants a 2.4 GHz system I believe the CFG was on at least one of Sean’s shoot outs in the top 5. He’s done three cross comparisons and he sent a pretty thorough job since there are a lot of exact copies of each of these different devices. I believe the legato may be the name of one of the copies of the Swiff. The design is different, but it bears the same green circle.

I have. Rodecaster Pro podcast recorder. However, the jacks are smaller. Do you think that if I get a jack adapter this would work fine?

Do you know if they work with active pickup? I have a Strat with EMG’s and I know some wireless sets get funky with active pickups.

I had a pair of CFG older ones on the UHF frequency range and I noticed that I got drop outs with them, sometimes 3 drops per set performed. I then purchased a Lekato set (basically identical as the CFG system you are reviewing here). Sadly they had drop outs as well. I think they're great for home use, but on gigs I need absolute zero drop out and I didn't achieve this. I use them on an acoustic guitar and a banjo, both instruments have active pickups. It's a shame really as I think that the wirless frequency band is getting very very very busy... 2 friends with high price systems by Line6 and Senheisser had drop outs recently having never ever had them in the past. Good review.

I echo Warren's concerns. It keeps me from pulling the trigger on these. This is not a practical test or review, as show environments have a ton of frequencies that can interfere with this system. These days console control, lighting and internet all use 2.4 GHz. How many of these can you use at once? BTW the CFG Gravity Free Guitar Straps are the BEST strap on the planet.
