When I bought this 10' NRX rod, I went for the 4 wt. as I wanted to fish more styles than just Euro nymphing. It's turned out to be a very nice wet fly and streamer rod, that Spey casts very well.

Really enjoy your videos & learn a lot, thx! I got this Loomis 4100-4 rod new and it had a bent tip. The outfitter checked the other two in stock, & they both had bent tips. I sent it to Loomis & they quickly sent a new replacement - with a bent tip. Luckily I purchased from a great supplier - Telluride Angler - and they credited me my shipping costs to Loomis & back to them, as well as a full credit for the rod. I gather that these models are hard to roll on Loomis’ rolling table without bending the tips. YMMV, buyer beware.
