Aconcagua Solo Normal Route

Bag stolen in Mendoza, a rough start. Aside from mule transport, no guides or porters. Went from Penitentes to Plaza De Mulas to Nido De Condores to Summit, and return. Spent a total of 13 days on the mountain, lost some time due to poor weather.

Congradulations, you did it ! I hope to go back too, but I ripped an important tendon (tibial posterior) trying to get back in shape, and it is not recuperating very well...

Great work. Can you share how many total days this took you from arriving in Argentina to summit and back down?

Congrats! Solo has to be the hardest way to go. Sorry to hear that you had gear stolen at the start. Was your bag stolen at the airport, hotel, or someplace else? Any advice on how to prevent that?
