Horizons was released in March of 1970, and is the debut LP by The Greatest Show On Earth, a band from United Kingdom.

The group's mixture of R&B soul, jazz and prog rock brought them to the attention of EMI's progressive label Harvest Records, who signed the band and issued, in february 1970, the single, "Real Cool World"/"Again And Again" which, though not a hit in the UK, gave the band a medium-sized hit across Europe where they were also an in-demand live attraction.

They were a show band, hence the name and turned into one of the best prog rock bands ever... a mystery why they were not huge.

Ian Aitchison on sax is my brother..remember playing his lp's in my teens...lost touch after our mum died around 28 years ago...anyway listened again...might still have an lp somewhere....be nice to know if he is still alive and maybe had kids....last known name was ian williams....still good music
