- some tools.

Cool idea demonstrating an alcohol burner. Be careful with any alcohol other than denatured alcohol. . Isopropyl alcohol has nasty smell and dangerous by products when burned

Instead of throwing the rest of the can away use the rest of the can as a homemade windscreen with air holes in it with a paper puncher. :)

this type of liquid fuel burner may be danger if not fill full of the liquid inside the can, as the remain space is contain air+fuel stream mixture and may be "pop" and spill out liquid fuel when ignite😅

Perfect solution, instead of cutting one can, possibly injury and crude, bending is better. Also holding rim looks like cool design too.

Wicked little stove. Luckily I had a spare can handy after I messed up. Worked first go, even with some spare heads from a moonshine distillation. I wouldn't go much lower than 60% abv, but it ran for a long time on just 50ml. Make sure you have a wide dish so the starter flames can breathe.
