NAVI are your PGL Major Copenhagen champions.

Many doubted them but all were silenced on their path to glory.

Here's how CS2's first ever Major went down...

AleksiB is tactical genius. He is most know of his signature tactic "going B, but then farm G2." He also has second little known tactic of "throw every single Ancient games, but win them all in major playoff." What a absolute legend. Top 3 IGL 4 sure.

I am one of many organizers at a small 200-300 people Lan Party in Lithuania, Kaunas (InfoShow Lan Party). We all remember jL coming to the event yearly, even few months ago just to say hi. We were all thrilled to see our first Lithuanian to win a Major. go jL!

We had over 20k romanian viewers across different streaming channels hyping for IM, he is our legend, the first romanian to win a major, also when he arrived in the bucharest airport we had a community waiting for him and cheering him up

Prayers for Monesy 😢
He’s suffering from horrible back pain due to carrying 4 Grown Men on his back for so long

I like how G2 kicked Aleksib as 'hes not that good'. Then he kicked them in semis and won the Major. Legendary

People keep misunderstanding the greatness in Aleksib. Time and time again he has taken the job of elevating lower tier players and making it work and raising the expectations of those squads massively. Then gets tossed and the squads just fall off. He knows how to get the teamwork to make the dream work and people dont see that for some reason even after all these years.

One thing that was not mentioned, but it is worth it. B1ade's impact seems to be huge. He faced huge challenges:
- War in Ukraine and you need to remove the russian players
- S1mple's burnout
- Switch the language.

He managed all of this. He proved that hard work pays of, there are no non-replaceable players, The team is not about gifted players, and he can build a top-level team with the resources that he has.

For me, it proves that B1ade is one of the greatest coaches of all time in CS history!!!

Anyway,
Thanks for the review.

I was watching this with my brothers who cheered for Faze and me for Navi. Been a fan for years, great to see them take it home. I always knew they can do it. And shout out to my Lithuanian brother jL Nesustok!!!

Also, not to forget the awesome work B1ad3 has been doing with NAVI. Not ez integrating a new international team, and he has done an absolutely incredible job imo.

I was watching with a friend of mine in Finland rooting for AleksiB. Finnish people that night were Navi supporters waiting for the Finnish flag to be waved from AleksiB's glory with Navi. As a fan of Navi since 2018, I felt like this is a moment where there's more than just me rooting for my own team. Now I got to see Navi win a major, something I haven't seen since 2021, and the entirety of the neighborhood screaming in joy as AleksiB made history as the first Finnish person to win a major in Counter Strike
