Minced beef stew is a delicious dish. You can enjoy it with Rice, spaghetti, pap, e.t.c.

Recipe
300g minced beef
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp mixed herbs
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp BBQ spice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 beef cube
3/4 cup beef onion broth
2 large potatoes boiled
1 large carrot
2 tbsp vegetable oil
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper

i dont understand the purpose of onion and garlic powder in dishes where you can use fresh ones.. they are good for dip sauce and potato chips and fries maybe but ... stews ... can anyone explain?
