I just noticed he changed his discord status to this:
MDExMDExMTAgMDExMDAxMDEgMDExMTAwMTAgMDExMDAxMDA=
Anyone know what he wrote in plain English?
If this looks greek to you, check out this video showing how I decoded it using CyberChef to find his "hidden" message.
This is the same type of thing we do as cybersecurity analysts to find hidden messages, encoded content, or reverse engineer the meaning of malware.
This was an easy challenge since he didn't know enough (yet) to add a shift or ROT cipher, or to encrypt his payload, but hey, not bad for a newbie 14 year old!
