The climate crisis is the largest problem humanity has likely ever faced, and now is the only time to act. Nuclear and renewable energy shouldn't be considered enemies, but allies, and utilizing them both, we can eliminate the use of fossil fuels way faster.
The fact is, that renewable energy cannot be produced fast enough nor consistently enough to fight off climate change, but with the help of nuclear energy, it can be done.
I live in Finland, I know a thing or two.

Yeah, and nuclear energy doesn't even create air pollution, only nuclear waste, which is propperly stored deep in the earth. Plus, a single power plant can power half of a 500k city alone.

quick question how is nuclear safer when there are possibilities like chernobyl to occur. not only this but these accidents can leave waste that is extremely difficult to remove and can cause radiation poisoning. idk a whole lot about renewable energy downsides except the cost and energy output but i always thought that renewable was safer. just curious to the reasoning behind that one if you wouldnt mind explaining
