WHAT IS A MOONBOW? looks like the BLUE SUPERMOON is bringing a bit more to the party.

A moonbow is a rare and beautiful natural phenomenon that occurs when moonlight is refracted, reflected, and dispersed by water droplets in the atmosphere, similar to how a rainbow is formed by sunlight. However, since moonlight is much fainter than sunlight, moonbows are usually very faint and often appear white or very pale in color to the naked eye. The colors in a moonbow can sometimes be seen in long-exposure photographs.

Moonbows are most commonly observed near waterfalls or in areas where there is a lot of mist, and they typically occur during a full moon or a very bright gibbous moon when the sky is dark.

The Blue Supermoon, with its brighter-than-usual appearance, can make the conditions even more favorable for spotting a moonbow, adding an extra magical element to the night sky.
