I love how micheal asks a rediculous question like, "Are there wire tying elves?" But then instead of saying that they obviously don't exsist, he says, "Probably not" because he's a scientist.

I can´t wait for bullet cameras to be invented. They sound so practical.

Michael: if I fired a camera bullet, what would it look like?
Me: blurry.

"Is there an elf running around and tying all the wires *Maybe, but probably not"*

No matter how much of a meme vsauce is, I will actually always love his type of humor.

Hello Michael, Shawn here… I’ve had an interesting concept about rainbows ever since I was a kid, learning about geometry in school, which your video reminded me of. Fascinated by the mythological leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, I tried to work out exactly ‘where’ the end of the rainbow actually was. So, if a rainbow is relative to the viewer and the light being refracted back towards the person’s eyes is coming from a circular shape, often bisected by the horizon, then the overall ‘shape’ this would create is a Cone. The ‘end’ of a cone is arguably it’s point or apex, which in this case is would be somewhere on your retinas. With this in mind, then the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, is right there in your head!

I love optics. I also love how he slides in the "and as always, thanks for watching" so seamlessly.

The petrichor thing is really awesome! I'm from Michigan, and there, the petrichor smell is lush, but in the southwest, it smells different. Why is that? Is it because plants give off different types of oils? Does every plant have a different type of oil that would smell slightly different and then the combination of whatever plants are in an area is what gives each petrichor its properties?
