I can imagine all the neuroscientists in their lab doing this party trick over and over in order to find a cure for Parkinson‘s disease😂

Is it the same as when you run on the treadmill for an hour and when you get off you still feel like you're on?

Just a small correction re: spelling: It's named after Oskar Kohnstamm (not Khonstamm), a German neurologist and pychiatrist.

I actually use this, with some variation, for some of my patients who have difficulty with active range of motion due to injury or neuro issues. It's awesome!

Just tested this! So cool! Thanks for the awesome and random info! It’s this sort of stuff that makes me so passionate about science and want to teach others about it!

I remember having a different version of this as a kid where we pushed our fists together for about a minute and it felt like your fists were magnetic and pulled towards each other! Cool to see that this is actually a science thing!

Love the study of human phenomena and learning how we can use it for science.❤

this feels kinda similar to when you still maintain your behavioral patterns that helped you adapt to stress and depression even after you're put in better place and have no need for them anymore

I was too busy thinking "this is Brazil" while she was raising her arms to realize what's going on. Lol
