I think Logan's was even sadder because his daughter was with him during it

I couldn't watch Logan in theaters because unlike in the US, my area is strict about age restrictions with R-ratings. My parents watched it and spoiled to me that Logan died. Yet I still cried when I saw his death despite knowing he'll die. That's how masterfully executed his death scene was.

A couple honorable mentions.
Harry Osborn in Spiderman 3. While the movie itself is a bit of a mess and could have done better. One thing everyone has to admit is that Harry's sacrifice right after redeeming himself, rekindling his friendship with Peter and teaming up with him to help stop Venom was incredibly emotional and a perfect way to end the trilogy. Perfectly ending the conflict with the Osbourne/green goblin story that started with the first one.
Rocket's friends in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Rocket spend his early years being tortured and experimented on by the high evolutionary and his his friends Lyla, Teefs, and Floor were there with him and they wanted to go on adventures together until HE killed them just because they were 'failed experiments'. The wholesome friend group would have had great lives if it weren't for HE's unreasonable methods. Poor Rocket. Now we know why he became such a scoundrel.

I think, hear me out, Queen Ramondas death is sad, not necessarily the scene but the fact she died because Shuri has lost her entire family in a very short time and she was still grieving T Challa when Ramonda died

We all know Gwen Stacy's fate in the comics but it was still so jarring when she died. Peter was so worried about Gwen meeting the same fate as her father, but he still wasn't able to prevent it from happening. Everything about that death hits so hard

Honestly that top 9 I agree with. Those are all gut wrenching scenes.


But probably one of the most underrated ones to me is Agent Coulson. Him telling Fury “I’m clocking out” and that’s the push they needed to bring them together is still gut wrenching to me.

Imagine living for 200 years basically alone and then you find out you have a daughter just like you and then die in her arms just daus before you met her is the defination of sadness Logan's death will always hurt in every watch
