Buran 4X4, The Latest Multipurpose Combat Vehicle

A Russian company that was originally known to be engaged in special modification of luxury vehicles, Rida ( established since 1993).
The armored car, named Buran ( blizzard), was introduced at the 2017 MAKS prototype in Moscow, Russia and ready to be produced since 2019.
Like modern mix, Buran can be developed in various variants, one of which is as a troop carrier ( APC) with a capacity of 10 people.
Its development base uses Sadko 4 × 4 GAZ-3308 trucks . It is equipped with a YaMZ 53442 200 ps diesel engine that can be driven 100 km / h with a range of 1,400 km.
Buran has an empty weight of 7,600 kg and a maximum load of up to 1,200 kg. Dimensions of 5.81 m long, 2.26 m wide and 2.35 m high.
Buran's ballistic protection level is at STANAG level 1, which can withstand 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm assault rifle bullets.
Buran is classified as a mine resistant ambush protected type of MRAP that can withstand explosive mines or improvised explosives (IED), although it is not explained at what level.
For self-protection, Buran can be armed with a 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm caliber machine gun both manually operated and in the form of Reporting from the official page, Rida offers several variants at once. Starting from Buran CC flatbed head cabin, Buran APC6 with a capacity of 6 personnel, Buran APC10 with a capacity of 10 personnel, and Buran Cargo for the transportation of goods.
Rida also launched Buran ASV type for use by security forces and special operations and Buran MCEV for field medical evacuation.
