Love it!! Just A Game will always be in my top 5 Albums of all time. Triumph was incredible. Got to see them live 5 times and saw Rik solo once. If Steve Perry & John Petrucci could of had a kid together it would have been Rik Emmett. Thanks for playing this great song from the EPIC Just A Game album

Lol! The look on your face when the brushes started on the snare was priceless!

With cassettes, songs were often arranged so the play times of each side were as close to each other as possible. That way, you didn’t have one side with a lot of dead air.

Love it. Ive always liked it when bands do things outside of their normal expectations

This reminds me of the fights between Dave and Eddie over what songs they (he) wanted to cover and go as far as to put on the next Van Halen album, Dave sure did like his show tunes.

Rick is into Jazz, obviously. He mentioned this song in one of his interviews. I like this tune and this album. My personal favorite is Young Enough to Cry. Very Rock Bluesy song.

In Canada the record company discontinued both the first and second albums and released a different Rock and Roll Machine with what they thought were the best songs from each of the first 2 albums, They just tossed the other songs away.

I really like it. I like when bands can play in different styles when they feel like it.

Reminds me a little of Melancholy Blues by Queen

They changed the order on cassette so the sides would be similar in length probably.

This is what interests me about bands who climb out of comfort zones. I hate bands that can't or don't dare.

Although most of us are trying to show Justin the diversity of this band, I believe the things he will gravitate more to is the more rockier, more progressive type tunes ( Stranger In A Strange) which i suggested to him, and the one he likes the most so far. I know most of us cherish the acoustic and somewhat eclectic pieces, but I think they might be a little too "weird" for this Reactor. I think he would dig Time Goes By, especially for Rik's vocal.

Some good suggestions with Gil Moore on vocals would be great. Young Enough To Cry, Battly Cry, Moving On, and Too Much Thinking would be some good suggestions.

Cassette tapes were treated as the red headed step child by the record labels back in the day. Songs would be out of order, and songs would be cut short so they could use as little “tape“ as possible. Even Led Zeppelin II was horrifyingly out of order. Heartbreaker ended side 1, and thank you started side 2. Living, loving maid was after thank you!!!! The whole beginning of sweet emotion was cut out of the toys in the attic tape as another example. It really sucked because as a kid you couldn’t afford a good quality turntable so cassettes were really your only option!

Usually on cassette, they have to fit the songs so that they play in line for the time per side....i might be wrong, though !!!

Ok song. Doesn't feel like it belongs on this album though.

This is a great album but this is the worst song on it. Triumph is hard rock band not a jazz band, surprised that this song was requested😀

this is a Rik tune all the way....Mike Levine doesn't know any better....he's a rocker, not a jazz player...and he will be the first to admit it !!...lol...you gotta remember, TRIUMPH was a heavy rock metal kinda wondering why no one is giving you any Gil Moore vocal songs from TRIUMPH....He sings almost half the Catalogue and some of his songs are excellent !!!!
