Gov. Greg Abbott appeared at Alamo Plaza Thursday to sign seven pieces of legislation related to firearms, including so-called constitutional carry.

For those of you who are not residents of Texas the only thing this law changes is the requirement to purchase a license/permit to carry! Texas was already an open carry/conceal carry state! Also, you still have to pass the NCIS Background check to purchase a gun!
