Prof. Moshe Shoham of Technion-Israel Institute of Technology's D. Dan and Betty Kahn Medical Robotics Laboratory in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the Founder and CTO of Mazor Robotics. The Mazor Renaissance guidance system for spine and brain surgery is the only one of its kind.
