So true! I love the tie in between acknowledging the Word of God as true and the result being our own transformation.

So 'the ministry of THE WORD' does that mean the word in flesh (Christ) or God's spoken words, or both?

In a similar way:
John 18:37 King James Version (KJV)
To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Psalm 50:16-17 ESV
16But to the wicked God says:
“What right have you to recite my statutes
or take my covenant on your lips?
17For you hate discipline,
and you cast my words behind you.

Now please make another video about the wicked rejecting God's Word! *The mark of the wicked*

I am not trying to be pedantic here but nowhere does the Bible or Scripture call itself 'the word of God' (correct me if I am wrong). I no the voice of God and the word of God are different words in Greek. "The holy Scriptures'" which are able to make us wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus~

Sorry, Thie passage is not about the WRITTEN word of God. Rather, "The word of God which you HEARD from us" had the outward appearance of word of men (as spoken words), but they received it as the word of God (which it actually was). When we speak, as led by the Holy Spirit, in agreement with Scripture, our spoken words carry the authority of God. This is the entire goal of preaching the Gospel. Scripture likewise is confirmed as truth by the Holy Spirit to be the written word of God.

First off it’s not ‘we give thanks’, but ‘we offer Eucharist (thank offering)’ to God and its not ‘you who believe’ that has a definitive participle phrase in the present active and πιστευω means do faithfulness so it’s ’you the faithful’. These people didn’t merely believe they exhibited faithfulness so great Paul offered the Divine Liturgy for them. You don’t even understand what Paul is really saying!

The "Word" (Greek = logos) is the "Revealed Thought" of God.
"God is Spirit" ( John 4:24 )
The word "spirit" in scripture means the "mind" or "consciousness"
"God" is the Mind and Consciousness that dwells in ALL people and in ALL
not some old man up in the sky somewhere .

5:24 So you mean "The Bible" when you say the "Word of God"? 6:12 So there you go. You are in idolatry. I was correct in perceiving your error. The sleight of hand with which you replaced the real WORD OF GOD with the Bible is not surprising. Jesus is NOT the Bible incarnate. He is the agent who is the second member of the Trinity, through WHOM all things were made. The Bible is not a whom, but the Word of God IS! Paul is not talking about the Bible or the Scriptures as scrolls.
