My Dad had a 955k, back in the 70s. I was his tomboy, so of course I worked with Dads company, George M King Contractors, Millersville, Md. I ended up with my own DM 600 maxidyne dump truck. I love everything about what we did working. Grading, hauling, we built many parking lots, worked on all Anne Arundel co. State roads. We made Hwy. 193 from Bowie to Laurel. E.Steward Mitchell Co. "Barton Mitchell" Dads friend always paved after us. Dad died in 1985. I miss our company, I miss Dad and everyone else at work. We had a Cat 12-G when they first came out. She was so cool. Rotating the blade and the front end shifting over to the side. Dad would say " people think my Motor Grader is broke when they first see her" back to the 955K, when we were tearing down a gas station, the bucket just touched the wall, I loved it!!. We had a Grade All also. It doesn't seem they are used much anymore. I loved to spay ether in the air filter and hear those cats start on cold Maryland winter mornings. Thank you for showing your beautiful 955K track loader❤. It brings back memories 😢❤
