i think MARTHA, though i love her, hates any competitive threat to her brand and abilities to be the prototype of domestic creativity. she doe not like completion, because she always wants to win. she had this thing with RACHEL RAY, she envied JULIA CHILD, and wanted to be like her, and GWYNETH is a competitor to get that status as a domestic innovator, and that makes MARTHA nervous. it is understandable, but unnecessary really.
