Great idea, No 1.

If I would modify it, I'd use a section of angle for the top clamp.
More rigid than the plate, which deforms under pressure.
But definitely inventive, and a great idea for later.

)) а ведь бывает так что электрод намертво залипнет, ну там вовремя его под угол не согнул и вот он начинает раскаяться, и допустим ты в трудно доступном месте на лестнице, и до кнопки ВЫКЛ не достать )))) думаю что прищепка всеже удобней, и с ней быстрее сменить электрод
