This just happened to me a couple days ago. I had my phone connected to the stupid dollar general aux cord I have in the car. I had unplugged my phone because I was getting out of the car, hadn't realized until I got home and tried to watch YT shorts and didn't understand why I couldn't hear anything. I reset my phone a bunch of times, messed with the volumes the DND, everything.
