You probably should have used the normal setting on your instant pot since the low setting on the instant pot is like the Warm setting on the crockpot. I just learned that little tidbit today. Also, since the instant pot wasn't bubbling along like the crockpot that should have been the 1st clue that the instant pot wasn't getting enough heat to cook the food properly. Also, I noticed that the pieces in the crockpot seemed a lot smaller than the pieces in the instant pot..that makes a huge difference as well coupled with not enough heat.

Great side-by-side comparison! I would have loved to have seen what setting you used on the instant pot when in the slow cooker mode. They have less, normal and more.

Good to know. I’m loving my crockpot lately with everyone working/schooling from home. Throw stuff in it in the morning and we have hot soup/stew ready for lunch.

There really is no contest here. The slow cookers, crackpot is the best way to go. It's a wonderful way of making good food. All you need to do is put all the ingredients and put the lid on and let it cook for the whole day. How much more easier can we get that!

I love my slow cooker. I can set it up in the morning, then come home after work, throw in some veggies and have a great meal. Thank you for the comparison. I'm always torn because I prefer gadgets that have more than one function. (I did not buy a Keurig but took the plunge with the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew 3 in 1 coffee maker.) I do not want a crowded kitchen. But some products truly excel at their one function. I will definitely keep my slow cooker. Thank you, Karen!
