Based on the previous views, you enjoyed my last round-trip video, so here another one. Heading back to Galesburg, IL for work. I'm also running an experiment based on all your comments from last time on hogging the left lane.
Please join me for some classic Town Car highway cruising.

Great video Vitaliy! Those things all over your car, I’m not sure of it’s technical/botanical name, but we always called them whirligigs or helicopters. Kids love throwing them and watch them spin out! My wife ALWAYS drives in the left lane, and it bugs the crap out of me! We’re getting ready to head out on a 13 hour road trip ourselves tomorrow....looking forward to it one way, dreading it another!!

One of the many things that I like about my 2002 Town Car is the large trunk. When I go on a trip, I can put the suitcases and many other items in the trunk, and nobody else knows what is in there.
My sister and brother in law have a nice SUV, but when they travel, anybody can look in the rear of their vehicle and see what they have in it.
It is good to see that your highway gas mileage is improving. 😊

It IS in the rules of the road. Also o good way to piss off the police and get a ticket. Right lane, settle in, relax and enjoy the trip.

Think about installing a CB radio.
It will keep you entertained during long road trips
And truckers will alert you miles ahead, if any accidents or police radar.

Illinois DMV Handbook (2021), page 29 says you must drive in the right lane with certain exceptions, your use of the left lane is not a big deal but if someone crosses the media from the other direction you will save the life's of the people in the right lane. I was trying to find in the handbook where it says you can go 85 in a 70 if others are driving 95. I am only making fun of everyone ignores the letter of the law including me. I hope you have a safe trip home.

I've lived my whole life in small Indiana towns and we definitely prefer our American cars (me included) but that is slowly but surely changing with each passing year. You see a lot more Japanese cars than you did 15 years ago and while there are still a lot more American cars on the road (probably at least 3 to 1) a lot of newer vehicles are imports replacing domestic brands. New car purchases are probably closer to 50/50 where 15 years ago it was probably more like 3 to 1. If it weren't for Hoosiers love of American trucks the imports might even be leading now.

Would you do this kind of trip again in this car?

Is that scotch tape on your steering wheel?... I always drive in the left lane with my blinker on.

You are driving a luxury touring automobile. Don’t drive like a BMWhole. You live in the right lane and pass in the left.

If you are passing everyone and no one passes you, you are cop bait. Why 85? Slow a bit, save gas enjoy the trip.
