calling Deadmau5 a shitty mainstream EDM artist is blind. He's probably the least commercialised. He is one of the only EDM artists left I have respect for and that is why Imogen will have done her song with him.

I can understand Deadmau5's more EDM-centric fans not liking this one as much, but I'm surprised at the Imogen Heap fans who are hating on him and saying "she could have made this on her own."  I love Imogen's work as much as anyone (and in fact, this is the song that got me listening to her), but I've never heard anyone, not even Imogen, make a piano sound as good as this.  Imogen is amazing at what she does, but Joel's production and composition in this song are irreplaceable.

Can we stop fighting?  Thank you. :)

I've come back 7 years later to enjoy this wonderful piece. I was 16 at the time.

Somehow this song has aged incredibly well. In a post Covid world we live further apart than we used to.

While some places might be returning to normal it won't always be the case for everyone. We now sit more isolated than ever before socially speaking. Long distance relationships are much more common now and missing others has become a part of the daily struggle for many of us. To place on top of what was already straining social anxiety from societal polarization. It's like people don't really sit down and talk to one other and hide in their own camps of ideology. This brings us further apart and I feel as if that adds to the struggle on top of the isolation. It's like things doubled in a matter of days and right now I can only pray it comes back down one way or the other.

This song captivates all those feelings for me. I may be able to go out in public again soon but I will feel more alone in the crowd than I ever have before. Thankfully I have friends online who have actually cared for me and my feelings and I've been able to establish some meaningful permanent relationships even though they're long distance. What times we live in huh?

This song used to make me so depressed, I was going through one of the worst experiences of my life, I listened to this along with the rain, I burst into tears, I was sad and lonely, I now listen to this song I think of it as a reminder of my former self, my self saddened by the abuse of hatred and disgust.

There's so much emotion in this song. I almost cried listening to it. c':
The video just enhanced the emotions already put into it.

Is it just me or are there others that really appreciate and enjoy both imogen heap and Deadmau5? Is this some odd abyssal collapse of fans or something? I see so much hate shitting for both imogen and deadmau5, yet they both completed this song really well and many seem to enjoy the song! I'll never understand it. :I

So intense to hear such beautiful music. A collabo between Immi and Joel was made to happen... It sounds like both of their styles perfectly blended into one... I can't get over how amazing this is.

Imogen Heap's voice combined with the music is just dreamy and honey to my ears .

This is the most interesting music video I've seen, I think. I like how they did all those different animation styles. Love the original idea

i heard this song for the first time when i was in high school (i was 13-14 yrs old) because i was obsessed with deadmau5, and i didn't really think much of it, just thought it was a slow, sad boring song that i quickly forgot about, i only liked it because of the video.
now im in my 20's, about to graduate college and trying to get my life together, and rediscovering this song was a magical experience. its like, it all makes sense now. this is such a beautiful song and it does hit harder the older you get.

This song still holds up compared to 90% of the crap pop music back in 2013.
