Hadzabe Hut Building - Amazing Traditional House from Natural Materials

A group of Hadza hunter-gatherers build a traditional hut from baobab branches, sisal plants and grass. Despite modern pressures to settle these people are still (just) managing to live a traditional lifestyle.

I love these videos. No annoying music playing. Just the natural everyday sounds and chatter.
Such a simple life. You need a house, just get what you need from the forest and make it.
Notice how the woman cooking the vegetables controls the temperature under the pan. So neat.

Before having a horse, a tent, living in this house-son was a sign of poverty, now in Europe there are some who would pay I do not know how much just to spend a weekend in this house. They are in harmony with nature,  feed, dress and protect themselves from nature. Man owes everything to nature. I think they live the healthiest life. Thank you for this video. Their goal being to survive they do not kill each other. They share the work.

the houses are pretty simple as far as insulation. the weather in that area must be pretty mild year round unless these are a nomadic people. so cool!

When I look at this video, I’m amazed, proud and inspired by the skills, cooperation and stress-free life of these people. If I were not born in the west and now used to what I am, this to me would be an idea way to live: No mortgage or rent, utilities, car payment, grocery bill, no drive-bys, nothing. Now this is what I call freedom…until.
