Dubai Airport International Arrival DXB (Terminal 3)

In this Dubai international airport arrival we arrive on an Emirates flight from Cairo Egypt at 1am. As you will see the Dubai airport is still super busy even at 2am when we are looking for a taxi. This is an arrival at Terminal 3.

I love Dubai airport for connections because unlike other western airports, Dubai has most shops and food courts are open 24x7. Once my flight to Dublin from JFK was delayed and everything was closed after 9PM.

it's so big because of how many A380s it needs to accommodate. i'd imagine the terminal requires some incredible air conditioning system. but you'd think they should have some train to get down the concourse more quickly, kind of like Miami or Detroit.

We’ve just booked Perth-Cairo and have chosen to do a 12 hour layover at Dubai just to explore the airport and not be rushed.

Do you have to go through body scan/security/drug dogs all over again once you arrive? Only bringing a carry on. This whole process seemed so quick. Staying for 2 nights before my flight leaves for Africa. Never been on vacation overseas

I arrive at 1 the metro will be closed where I stay I don't know and the hotels do not check in at night and the airport is closed at night
