Greetings everyone, I'd like to introduce a dish, it's called "Magic Defense Items Suck". What you need is chop this Radiant Armor with Divine Glaive. And use Wishing Lantern to burn Athena's Shield.

This item fits better on heroes with longer ultimates like Gord, Odette, Cecilion, Change, Alice and Adc magic damage, like Kimmy and Natan, now for mages who finish with a combo, Sky Piercer is better

Wishing lantern just makes me think back to when glowing wand used to be so bad tbh with it’s current hp passive. Could not for the life of me understand why people used that item way back then, but I’m so ready to try this one lmao.

Like I do agree that this new item is a bit overtuned on some heroes and they really need to do something about that; BUTTT its current hp magic damage which technically is countered by magic resist; I think 10% is a bit too high yes but I mean there’s so much healing in the game anyways/shielding. Wish instead of them nerfing the items, they would just, add, more, items. And on top of this. even so still. My one pet peeve is like-

I see sooo many complaints about the item- but NO one understands the pain of playing Kagura into baxia/fred/barats jungle meta/ yu zhong/esme tanky exp meta/ a tanky tank support like khufra or a healer like Estes/Floryn that just heal the other tanks and get Athena’s; ( all 3 of them building magic resist) with a rose gold meteor tough boots tenacity adc; and spending the entirety of the game not able to dps because divine glaive doesn’t help early game/ and glowing wand does mediocre damage on her soo I don’t feel bad for y’all lmao. 🤷🏽‍♂️

(It is nice to finally after 8 years build something else other than glowing wand and lightning trunch for a viable build. Hopefully it doesn’t take them another 8 :D )

I wonder if Wishing Lantern's proc is affected by Lolita's shield since it looks like a projectile. If it is, then i guess on next patch, Lolita could be on the same level as Diggie from previous seasons (not OP, but too much of a counter for the meta heroes, so auto-banned in Ranked)

At this point the tanks are going to be paper and now there are quite a few magic items to prove this. I wonder why won’t they add more tank items. The old Radiant Armor was good in my opinion. Hear me out: High HP tank item with some Hybrid def with a Passive that regenerates like 60% dmg from the last 3 seconds taken when HP drop below 25% ?

also note that wishing lantern is not an early game item, it's hard to reach that 800 damage threshold in the early game and the damage remains as 10% hp

I’m a Lolita Main, and I’m very curious if Lolita can block the effects of wishing lantern? It looks like a projectile, and we all know that Lolita’s shield can block allprojectiles
