This video is about Ferdinand Schörner and Otto Ernst Remer, two German generals from the Second World War. Proper pronunciation is overrated anyway, right?

Managed to mispronounce Schörner differently every time I said it lmao. Has to be a new record of some kind.

Next video is (theoretically) Albert Göring so just mentally prepare for more. Also as I said in the video, I swear I will get to anything that is requested eventually. I do actually write everything down, so just give it some time. Y'all have a good one.

Something of interest that you forgot to mention Remer when doing his arms dealing was actually selling smuggled weapons to Fidel Castro and even sent him former Nazi death squad members to train his military.

Remer and Yockey actually knew each other, he was fully down with the whole "Communism is good now that the Jews are gone" thing. THe USSR also backed Nasser even thoguht Nasser efused to unban the Egyptina Communist Party.

The Pour Le Merite was established by Frederick the Great who famously used French in his court.

Nice to get more background of these Folks of extremely dubious character after learning about their existence from TNO. Makes me appreciate them more as the assholes they were. Thanks for the video.

Here’s a video idea, Oskar Dirlewanger, I can’t think of someone more * cough * 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪 than him.

Simple reason its has a french name "pour le merit" > the medal dates back to 1740, Friedrich Willhelm II, when French was the court language and the language of the upper educated classes. Prussian tradition kept the medal till 1918.
And it still exists in civil context to this day

Ironically Otto Remer after ww2 advocated an alliance with the Soviets over the West. His political party received active financial and logistical support from the Stasis and KGB in the 1950s. He later worked for the Algerian Liberation Front against the French, and worked for the Governments of Syria and Egypt. Very interesting character.

Vidkun Quisling is my suggestion for a guy to cover. What makes him interesting is how out of left field (kind of) his far-right political career came. Among other things Quisling: To this day holds the highest examination score as an officer cadet, was Fridtjoff Nansens second in command during his humanitarian aid and international visa help to Armenia and Ukraine, and had his own personal religion which he called "universalism"-
