You know what Journey actually symbolises, what it actually means??
It is the wordless story of life. And it teaches us something special. That all across our life we'll come across several people, it is how they touch our lives that matters. And that in despair (literally signified by the icy area) there'll always be hope and we must never give up until our legs give out. And that to never lose hope. Also it means that sometimes you meet someone in life with whom you can spend the entire "Journey" of life with, while someone else goes through everything alone.


Overall, it teaches us that life is not as easy as we think it to be (literally the feeling in the initial area of the game), and as we go on, as we carry out our journey of life we realise our responsibilities, our duties.

I still come back here often, this song and game really holds a lot of sentimental value to me because I played it amongst many other games with my younger brother who recently committed suicide. We both felt the same sorrow and sadness and though he passed away I want to live for us both and hopefully in another place we can reconnect under better circumstances, just having pure fun.
