Roblox VR For Quest Standalone! Meta Ends Quest 1 & Tons More!

In today's video, I finally get to bring you news about something a lot of you have been waiting for. First of all, we are going to take a look at Roblox VR for Quest standalone. We now have new that it will hopefully arrive on the platform later this year. We will also talk about the Quest 1 today, as MEta is slowly ending support for the device. After this, we will talk about the new Quest 3, as we have new leaks and information on the LCD panels that might be inside it, as well as a brand new upgrade for the Quest platform allowing it to have a much smoother PCVR. We will also mention the Apple VR and AR headset here as well as a new controller type developed by Shiftall! I hope you enjoy the video :D

Who knows, maybe meta will give us an unlocked firmware for the Quest 1 when they stop supporting it? Even though I think that might be unlikely. What do you think?

Quest 1 was a great headset, and still is. If you can find a cheap 150 dollar quest 1 just for pcvr, it’s well worth it. RIP the quest 1, the start into the standalone vr market.

I think I good idea for the future of vr is maybe have something like those new thin invisible haptic gloves as the norm and then in the headset have the option of virtual controls that you can feel and use as if they were physical controllers

Meta ending Horizons support on the Quest 1 makes sense as Meta is looking to improve the graphics of the avatars and worlds in Horizons soon. Seeing as the Quest 1 is running an older SoC, it most likely can't support those upcoming graphical improvements. It still does suck that the Quest 1 is nearing an EoL date :/.

CES so far has been great news only, just look at all the display technology advancement, seems like everyone is use OLED, mini-LED with crazy specs. its only a matter of time for them to show up on VR headsets, this is surely gonna be very exciting year for the VR, and maybe a year that eye track/face track/super nice display panel can be standard feature on any headset.

those controllers look really nice, the knuckle straps I got are great and very comfortable, but it's annoying to not be able to just drop the controllers and have them hang on my wrists while I get a drink or something.
