How To Reset Echo Show 5

If you are giving away your Echo Show 5 or selling it or changing accounts with your Echo Show 5 it's a good idea to reset it to factory defaults before giving it to someone else.

You can factory reset the Echo Show 5 by doing the following:

1. swipe down from the top of the Echo Show 5
2. Click on settings
3. Scroll down to device options and click on the "Device Options" tab.
4. Then scroll down to the bottom of the menu and click on "Reset to Factory Defaults"

This doesn’t work for my echo show. The settings will not open to allow me reset it.

The issue I have is that it does not respond to any touch commands, thus there is no way to initiate the Reset to Factory Default. It does, however, respond to voice commands. Any suggestions? Thanks
