I’m currently playing over the original Deus Ex game and the electronica music soundtrack is absolutely sublime to my ears! This Roland sounds very much like the synth used in that game! Thank you for running through the names of artists that used it and that I’ve had no idea about! I found your video in the suggestions just as few hours ago and I’m binge watching them. You rock, dude! 🦾 😎 👌

The OCD in me loves it that the keyboard is parallel to the edge of the frame.
Great work, really interesting., love it.

DAF - Der Mussolini was a Korg MS-20. However, you missed Nitzer Ebb! All early song up until "That total age" was done on a SH-101 (even though it was layered with a DX7 in the studio).

Who Needs Love Like That -1985 tambien se hizo con Roland SH-101 tanto en el inicio de la canción y en la parte que suena como una progresión hacia el estribillo.

I remember borrowing one these from my mate back in the day and trying to program this thing it had some weird midi trigger, think I had to send a full bar of hand claps or hi Tom’s to in input on the sh101, worked for the blue Monday bass line back then.
Remember waking up in the middle the night after spending days trying to work out a dead or alive bass line, it just came to me, so got up programmed it in step mode (I think) played it back, upped the tempo. Perfect!
My mate wouldn’t sell it to me😢

❤ My very first synth, back in 1983! That brings back a lot of memories! Where does the reverb/delay come from?

Think Polynomial-C was made on a MC-202 but close enough. Great selection!
