I'm so scared omgggg I have bad social anxiety.. my friends know at school that I'll just buss out crying and walk away if I feel it's too much for me, especially in the cafeteria, I can't stand looking in people faces or surrounded by a lot of people talking, it just drives me nuts . Wait so to apply for a job u just randomly come in, ask for the manager and then ask the maneger wt places are available and simply say why ur suitible for the role and then get the heck out of their....WOW

You know maybe I'm not trying hard enough and I have to do this again today but everytime I go into apply with a company or workplace and ask or inquire about a job they then proceed to tell me to go online. I've been unemployed since June and don't know what to do at this point honestly. I feel like walking in seems like a big waste of time but at the same time when you apply online at home you also don't hear anything back. It's like a lose-lose situation to where you almost have to beg and keep calling back the company for a job. If it wasn't for my mom harping at me to get a job every 30 seconds and getting dirty looks for not helping out around the house and all of this BS then I wouldn't care about getting one to begin with honestly. I told her I didn't want my next job to make me feel enslaved like my last job of almost 6 years that I hated so much and she keeps aggravating me and telling me to take whatever I can get. She knows I have anxiety and she's just not making it easy on me because that's all I ever hear her complain about. The worst thing about job hunting is you have outsiders looking down on you and treating you like dirt all because they think it's so easy when it's not easy to find one.

There’s a Subway really close to where I live that has a job ad on the door that says that I can apply in person. Even with the confirmation that applying in person is acceptable I’m still so worried about it

I've never once gotten a job online.... Always in person!!
