Solo leveling isn’t getting a season 3?

Okay take this with a pinch of salt, i’m simply a reporter here but it’s sad news nonetheless.

The anime producer, Atushi Kaneko was in attendance at the Aniplex after hours event, naturally answering lots of questions about the future, production and all that good stuff, but one particular thing has caused waves in the community.

He says “With episode 25, the anime series of Solo Leveling will end for now”

Stating he doesn't know what the future holds and nothing is confirmed so far but did say that the support from the fans can affect that decision.

Success isn’t everything to guarantee a season 2 or 3, we’ve seen too many examples of incredibly popular shows being cancelled or never renewed due to many reasons, but I do hope and pray Solo Leveling continues cause there’s so much good stuff to come, and i need to see Cha and Jinwoo get cosy with each other pleeeease,

It’s break my heart that animes never get to be live there full potential especially this one season 2 was amazing i get its top 2 in best anime now but i don’t care about favorites I watched anime because I enjoy its content and story that can be branches toward the audience to enjoy its heart felt moments like when Jin-woo revive his mother from her sickness that see had for 4 years, Im gonna be honest that almost made me cry. To the creator I hope continue this anime but it’s not only up to us but it’s up to you..

After watching the final episode, i went to reread the entire manhwa and i can't fathom the amount of budget that will need to be put in for season 3... There's just way too many things happening that i can't ever imagine it getting animated 😭 but solo leveling has surprised me on more than one occasion so I'll pray that it will get a season 3.
