I loved how genuine & emotional your reaction was to our beloved John Farnham, I hope you react (or even just listen privately) to a LOT more of his repertoire. His voice & amazing live performances still make me emotional too, & I've been an avid fan of his since I first heard You're The Voice in 1986 - it changed my life! I've been lucky enough to go to a number of John's concerts over the years, & he was always incredible. He has always had such a magical magnetic charismatic presence, while also being very humble & self-deprecating & funny. I'm a fan of the Beatles that we're the ones to write and do this song originally. This is the 2nd cover I've heard of it, and its the first time I've heard this particular version by Mr. Farnham. (The first cover I heard was by Tina Turner) I must admit that this version is far better than Tina's and I actually enjoyed it more than the Beatles version. And for me to say it was better than the Beatles is saying quite a lot. Thanks very much for uploading this.

I tear up every time I see this performance - at least 15 times by now. I feel so blessed to have seen John perform live around 9 or 10 times between age 12 and 47 - he is and always has been the greatest Australian live performer - his voice, his generosity, warmth and humour. The connection with us, his audience, is like no other.
We just adore him and his immense talent.

John always puts in a hundred percent, This concert was great you should have a look, I particularly love it’s a long way to the top he performed before Help, and by the way that was the last song at the concert

You should also listen to him singing "You're the Voice" from the same concert. It is mindblowing powerful, and is one of the reasons why he is called "The Voice".
