How To Solve The Issue Of a Horse That Crow Hops When Asked To Lope

The question was, "I’ve got a super well-broke gelding. He is 11 years old this year. When I am riding and I ask him to lope, he almost always bucks just a little the first time I ask him to lope. After that, he’s usually perfectly fine and lopes without a problem for the rest of the ride. I’ve only come off of him twice when he does that, I can usually ride it out and then everything is fine. I don’t get it. He also regularly sees a chiropractor. Why does he do this, and how do I prevent it?"

I live by this 1000% if you can't do this at the walk what is the point of doing it at the canter or gallop? And i live by the "suggest, ask, tell, method"

My horse refuses to go into a trot. Will buck if you ask him too. I guess it’s the same premise?
