Get used to it. If their core group does not perform, they're done. And they did not behave/play as though they get that..or care. You've got 9 spots to fill with a projected $24M..some say it's $27M; others $29M. Regardless, they will make a pitch to Geekie and Jokiharu. Why shouldn't they get paid? Swayman broke the bank and so did McAvoy..so did Lindholm. The day of hometown discounts are gone and Bergy (whom nobody got paid more than) is gone. If they don't render proper contracts to those two, then add 2 more spots to fill. With what? Nobody is plugging in from the #5 draft spot for next year and they are not simply a few players away anyway. Can't have the season ticket holders believing a rebuild or even a retool is going on, so damage control...distractions. Lorhie has got to go!!! He is an offensive defenseman who cant play offense and is completely incompetent defensively. 6 on 4 and he air mails a shit pass to pasta and gave the puck away.... the dude is trash. Cant play defense, cant play offense, cant skate, cant stick handle and sure af cant pass. Get rid of him! Also a big gust of wind takes lysell off his skates. Dude is so soft on his skates its rediculous. I watched him in the Blackhawks get pushed over like 6x in the 3rd alone. And I'm not talking being hit and knocked over I'm talking soft one handed pushes and he is skates up puck going the other way. Dude its hockey stop being a wuss! Man up and reverse hit or stand your damn ground princess. 😂 end rant.
