How I make Wearable Art

Recently I was asked how I create the designs for my fabric pieces. 
Everything starts in the studio coming up with a colour palette, designing a glass panel and looking deep into the glass to find patterns and shapes. I take photographic images of the panels (along with my husband and previously Mary Coakley). 
Then I work with a company in Montreal to translate those photo's onto fabric and voila! 

Scarfs, Beanies, Tote Bags and more are the outcome, all from one-of-a-kind glass designs.
